Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates
will be called for Written Examination only.

application fee of ₹ 300/- (₹ 200/-Application fee and ₹ 100/-Processing
fee)through Demand Draft from any nationalized bank drawn in favour of
Director, Institute of Wood Science and Technology payable at Bengaluru.

Educational Qualifications:
Research Assistant ->
M.Sc. in Wood Science & Technology / Chemistry from a recognized
University.
Stenographer -> 12th
class certificate from a recognized board. Should possess a minimum speed of 80
words per minute in Stenography in English on the basis of competitive
examination to be conducted by the Director, IWST, Bangalore. Certificate
Course in Computer applications typing speed 5 key depression for each word.
Technical Assistant ->
12th Pass with Science from a recognized board.
LDC -> 12th class
certificate from a recognized board. A typing speed of 35 words perminute in
English on Computer.
Driver –> Essential
- Matriculation from recognized board. Possession of a valid drivinglicense for
motor cars. Experience of driving a motor car for three years or more.
Desirable - Knowledge of motor mechanism (the candidate should be able to
remove minor defects in vehicles).
MTS -> Essential - 10th
Standard pass certificate from recognized board/ recognized school. Desirable -
3 years or more experience in relevant trade.
