LIVE SCORE

South Africa
The hosts have selected a sizeable squad for this series which means there could be some changes if they decide to rotate their pack but it's probably more likely they will opt for consistency as they try to wrap up the series. One area of the team's make-up which may need review is who is going to be the sixth bowler. JJ Smuts bowled one over of spin for 22 runs in the first match which left the rest of the bowling line-up exposed. It ended up fine in East London - just - but it remains to be seen whether Smuts is the long-term answer.

Probable XI: Quinton de Kock, Temba Bavuma, Rassie van der Dussen, David Miller, JJ Smuts, Andile Phehlukwayo, Dwaine Pretorius, Beuran Hendricks, Dale Steyn, Tabraiz Shamsi, Lungi Ngidi

England
There could be changes for England. After conceding 41 runs from his three overs in the opening game, Tom Curran could be replaced by brother Sam who would offer a left-arm angle as well as some added strength to the batting. Lancashire quick Saqib Mahmood might also be an option, perhaps in place of Mark Wood who England need to continue to manage given his injury history, while Dawid Malan, and his T20I average of more than 50, was unlucky to miss out in East London.

Probable XI: Jason Roy, Jos Buttler, Jonny Bairstow, Eoin Morgan, Joe Denly, Ben Stokes, Moeen Ali, Sam Curran, Chris Jordan, Adil Rashid, Saqib Mahmood

Match News

South Africa and England on Wednesday After a thrilling opening gambit in the three match T20I series between  (February 12), here's hoping game two lives up to the new expectations. With England needing a victory to ensure they remain alive in the series, and South Africa wanting, or rather needing, a soothing win after a sustained period of tumult, both sides will certainly be going for it at Kingsmead as they look to arrive at a formula to take into the T20 World Cup later this year.

despite an error-strewn opening in the first game, At least England can take comfort in the quality of their bowling line-up which looks varied and skilful even without Jofra Archer. The spin twins of Moeen Ali and Adil Rashid, combined figures of 2 for 45 from eight overs in East London, remains a real trump card while Chris Jordan's death bowling was, yet again, superb. Jordan was not alone there. For neutrals, another close finish in Durban on Friday evening certainly wouldn't go amiss.Lungi Ngidi bowled two excellent overs at the death of England's innings to get his side just over the line.
